Philosophical Approach

I believe that each client is unique and therefore utilize an integrative approach to help facilitate healing. I come from a family systems background, which aims at addressing dysfunction by boundary setting, improving communication, owning your identity and changing relationship patterns. In order to enable clients to reprocess their trauma and memories, I have extensively trained in EMDR and commingle various techniques in conjunction with mindfulness and inner-child work. Other treatment approaches that may be used conjunctively or individually throughout the course of treatment include, but are not limited to Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) .

In addition to my therapeutic approach the use of meditations, journaling and self- help books are used to encourage healing. To address the problems that exist, one must face their own individual problems so that a ripple effect can take place throughout one’s family system, society and the world as a whole. There is an inherent understanding of abuse, dysfunction and family of origin trauma. I enjoy

working with people in the recovery, kink/poly and BIPOC communities. As a proud member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community I view oppression through an intersectional-feministic viewpoint and believe that feminism is for everyone!

Personally

In my spare time I enjoy hiking, writing poetry and most things involving an adrenaline rush.
